Sandy is a small market town in Bedfordshire. The area is dominated by the Sand Hills and the Ivel River. The history of Sandy supposedly, camping bed
, dates back to 250BC as an archaeological dig in 2006 discovered items from this era. The town was originally a roman settlement that was used as a trading center. Caesar’s camp, an ancient hill fort can still be seen overlooking the town.  Read more...
